Anita Webster-Smith - Marketer. Workchoice Day Student in 1998.

In 1998, as a student at Macleans College, I took part in the programme, where I visited the Marketing Manager at John Sands Cards.

This experience left a big impression on me and really set in my mind that marketing was the right career for me. The appeal was the creative involvement marketers had, without having to actually be the one coming up with all the ideas.

After completing my Bachelor of Commerce degree at The University of Auckland and doing my OE for three years, I now work in the marketing department at ASB Bank in Auckland and am loving every minute.

Thank you for organising the trip out to John Sands all those years ago, it truly was a great experience.
